Measure S provides $10 million for a new Capitola building. Construction bids for a 11,700 sq. ft. library begin at $12.5 million. Your Friends are raising funds today to ensure the building can be completed by 2020, and to create a 21st Century Library inside. Projects include an enriched children’s room, a teen zone, and expanded collections.

Measure S funds will go towards upgrades in the Boulder Creek building, primarily to the bathrooms. The County of Santa Cruz plans to begin upgrades in early 2019. You can create an enriched children’s room, and provide state-of-the-art technology for successful students and adults.

Measure S provides $23 million to the HEART of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries. The Santa Cruz City Council voted on September 11th to move forward with building a NEW library in a mixed-use building! You can create a 21st Century Library that provides collections and resources to the entire 10 branch system by donating today to the Downtown branch.

Measure S provides $10 million for a new Felton building. The County of Santa Cruz is currently accepting construction bids for this 8,800 sq. ft. building. Your Friends are raising funds to create a 21st Century Library with an enriched children’s space, technology, and an outdoor courtyard.  The Felton library project will break ground 9/21/18! 

With $5 million allocated, this project is set to break ground in 2020 and open to the public in 2021!  The annex will have a focus on youth, families, and technology; providing after school resources for the Live Oak community.
