Measure S pays for the construction of 10 buildings.

The library you find inside, is up to YOU!

To The Buildings Campaign

Friends Turning Buildings Into 21st Century Libraries.

In early 2016, the Facilities Financing Authority of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries placed a $67 million bond measure (designated Measure S) on the June 2016 ballot. With 70% approval, voters agreed to fund Measure S!

From La Selva Beach in South County to Boulder Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains, all ten buildings of the SCPL will receive Measure S funding for upgrades, remodels or new construction.

Yet, with constructions costs going up nearly daily, Measure S funds will only pay for the basic upgrades, remodels or new construction at each of the ten buildings.

The library you find inside will be up to YOU.

Your Friends are filling each new library space with enriched collections, state-of-the-art technology, and a diversity of welcoming features for your community.  Please join them!
